George Marciniak

Burlington born and raised, George Marciniak, is a playwright, founder and host of a play-writers group that meets monthly and part-time Auctioneer.

He enjoys community theatre; BurlOak, TOP, WEST END in Oakville, and The Pearl Theatre in Hamilton where his Plays have been showcased.

He has taken various workshops and been a long-time member of an advanced Toastmaster group. He has directed plays, a short film and hosted a Comedy Revue which included some of his plays.

His many creative 1-Act Plays include:

Honey I’m Home, Funeral Dance, Gallows End, Crossroads, Penelope and the Parrot, Manfred Potatohead, Devil of a Detail, Alfredo the Grate, The Trouble with Spirits and They Shoot Turkeys Don’t They.

George writes to entertain and to bring humour to his audience. As writers, George says, “All we can do is put our work out there and let you, the audience, be the judge”.
