This one act play illustrates the absurdity of an over regulated society when a man who has been in a coma for many years meets up in a park with a mother and daughter who proceed to educate him on the realities of 2060 living.
Anywhere in Canada in a public park. Year 2060
Female: Caral 20 – 30’s. Wearing a futuristic uniform. Daughter of Marlo.
Female: Marlo 50-60’s Wearing the same futuristic uniform.
Male: Jett 60s Wearing a hoody and jeans and carrying a large gym bag.
12 minutes (Approximately)
Two park benches.
A large knapsack. A sandwich wrapped in plastic wrap. Two lunch containers with retractable straws.
Lights up – (sunny day). Lights down
Sound of birds chirping. Sound of a siren.
